Windows Azure November CTP installation fails on Windows 7 x64

Question

Running the installation fails after downloading the first item; the MSI logs state that .NET 3. SP1 is required. .NET 3.5 SP1 is already installed. MSI logs attached by request from @gusper.

Havard,
This install worked for me on Windows 7 x64. Here is my suggestion:
Go to "Programs and Features" -> "Turn Windows Features On or Off" and make sure "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1" has a tick next to it. Then try the installer again.

   Are you using the vscloudservice.exe to install or the webpi?

   Also, could you please tell me the following

      In  "Programs and Features" -> "Turn Windows Features On or Off" is "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1" checked?

      Is Visual Studio 2008 SP1 installed?

      Is Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 installed?

      Was Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 installed?

      Also could you check the following two registry keys and let me know what the values are?

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5\SP

      And 

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5\SP

To get pass the install error, if the value of the registry is 0, set it to 1.

I am using vscloudservice.exe.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 is checked.

VS08SP1 is installed.
VS10beta2 is installed.
VS10beta1 was installed.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5\SP is 1.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5\SP was 0. Setting it to 1 and rerunning fixed the problem and allowed setup to complete successfully.
