AnswerHow many different web application can be hosted in single Azure Account

    I would like to know how many different web application can be hosted in single Azure Account. In PDC trial its limited to 1 hosting account.

    **NOTE, THIS POST CONTAINS AN INACCURACY, SEE PITA's CLARIFICATION BELOW**

    You will be able to have unlimited web applications within a web role (**NOTE, THIS SHOULD READ within a Hosting Account**). These run on different ports within the same URI, so may not be ideal.

    There has been much discussion on these forums regarding how best to regard a Hosting Account.


    I suggest you look into these threads to see what your peers concerns are :-)

     Answer
    Every web role you host right now will take up one Azure instance. Even though they are separated by port number (DNS-wise) each of them still takes up one instance. Multiple webroles per instance request has been a much highly sought-after feature. We'll see at Prod release if MSFT makes that happen. But for now, you get one role per instance.
