help - missing app - migrate from usa-northwest
- 16:12 - hmm, anyone know how to delete service when not on admin page???--------------------------------------------------------------16:05 - found email from azure team on 11-02...Windows Azure CTP participant,You are receiving this mail because you have an application or storage account in Windows Azure in the “USA - Northwest” region. Windows Azure production applications and storage will no longer be supported in the ‘USA-Northwest’ region. We will be deleting all Windows Azure applications and storage accounts in the “USA - Northwest” region on November 3rd.To move your application/storage, first delete the project using the “Delete Service” button. Then recreate it, choosing the “USA - Southwest” region. (It may take a few minutes for your previous application and storage account names to become available again.)Note that deleting your storage account will destroy all of the data stored in that account. Copy any data you wish to preserve first.--------------------------------------------------------------14:00 - Same issue as other poster - my app is no longer available on admin page. Any idea if migration tool is ready, etc? Need to deploy release to prod.reference: http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsazure/archive/2009/08/04/migrating-from-usa-northwest.aspxquick link to view location: http://wheresmyapp.cloudapp.net

- The application is deleted now, so you should be able to recreate it.

- It sounds like your application was deleted when the northwest data center was shut down. You'll need to recreate it.
- Steve,
Thanks for response, the problem I have is that I need to use the same service name, but since I can't delete it, I can't use it.
It says "expressionsoftware is not available" - and the site is still accessible. Is there a way for me to use a query string or url to force it to show up in admin page so i can delete and recreate it at one time?

- I Have the same problem too with zecloud.cloudapp.net
So i changed my CNAME for www.zecloud.fr who was pointing on zecloud.cloudapp.net on zecloudv2.cloudapp.net
But if i can recreate something on zecloud.cloudapp.net it will be very useful.
