Restyle a PopupMenu and its items

Question

Can someone suggest a way to restyle a PopupMenu and its items? I need to change the fonts and colors for the PopupMenu items.

Tan - you cannot restyle the PopupMenu class.  It is a system-level menu.

I like to do the same as what PermanentTan wants to do. Can we wait for a more advanced version of the system-level PopupMenu class somewhere in the future (but before win8 ships) or do we have to write one from scratch by ourselves?
