    Hi,

We want to play videos from a glassfish server which would normally

    play on our Android app.

All we are doing is developing our custom App for Windows8 for the same workflow,

but the consequences are that garbled text values ie. the content of the video is printed as text garbage in

    the application interface.

Normally playable video or audio on the same Windows8 machine won't play videos from

the glassfish server running on a remote machine.

    Solution expected.

    Regards.

What does your code look like to play the video?

What type of video files are you playing?

If you download the same videos locally do they play correctly?

Is this problem specific to your app? Can you play these files correctly from the Videos app?

    Hi,

As a matter of fact, the things do work ok.

IIS can be configured to use the files.

    The files play correctly.

The problem arises while accessing the specified glassfish server ..

It may also be specific to that server.

But yet no discovered or resolved.

    Regards.

    Hi,

The problem resolution is simply the firewall disallowing videos,

although the garbled text would be delivered in the response.

    Regards.
