Tile Short Name character limitation

How do I show a longer product name/ company name in Metro Tile. Exceeding the limit of 13 characters.

Is there a way to specify a longer product name/company name while sending tile notification over WNS.

I also noticed that IE is showing the whole name as "Internet Explorer" which is more than 13 characters. Can we some how get our complete product name in default tile and tile notification.

The Short Name is limited to 13 characters. The tiles that are exceeding that don't appear to be using short names: if you don't then the Display Name will be used, but it may be cropped.

See the guidelines which state:

If your app name does not fit in one line on the tile, use a shorter version or a meaningful acronym. For example, "Word" for Microsoft Word 2010. Names that exceed the maximum number of pixels are truncated with an ellipsis. The maximum name length is approximately 18 English characters, but that varies with the specific letters involved.
