Saturday, August 22, 2009 10:09 PMHi All!
Is there any chance to use a WCF LOB Adapter in VS 2010? Or are there any news, when the WCF LOB Adapter SDK is available for VS 2010?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Monday, August 24, 2009 6:08 AMThanks for the link, Sorry, but I can't find the download for the WCF Adapter SDK.... Can you help me once again?
Or is there another way to consume a WCF LOB adapter in VS 2010 than it was in 2005 / 2008?
In VS 2005 / 2008 I installed the SDK and this added a menu "Add adapter service"... which generated a proxy
Thanks in advance,
Monday, August 24, 2009 1:54 PMModeratorYou can download the WCF LOB Adapter from:
The experience should be the same one that you are describing.
Monday, August 24, 2009 7:56 PMSorry to bother you again.
The installation does have any effect on the Visual Studio menu and the "Add adapter service" entry is still missing...
Has anyone got this working with Visual Studio 2010?
Tuesday, August 25, 2009 4:37 PMDear Patrick,
The current version of the WCF LOB Adapter SDK (SP2) is not working with Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1. The installer of the Adapter SDK is not recognizing the new VS version yet. The setup program will not offer the Tools option, which is containing and installing the VS-Plugin to generate the proxy classes. You also can't upgrade from VS2008 (with WCF LOB Adapter Plugin installed) to VS2010. It's not working right now. I hope this helps you.
Tuesday, August 25, 2009 4:45 PMHello Jürgen,
thanks for the post.
I hope we'll get access to a WCF Adapter SDK that works with VS 2010 soon....
It would have been a great idea to implement the WCF proxy generation as a built in functionality to VS. But I think we have to wait for VS 2013. I have not seen it on any feature list so far....
Monday, December 14, 2009 9:06 AMHi Zuteilunsgreif76 , is there anything from WCF LOP SDK for VS2010 beta version. As I am also facing the same issues "Add Adapter Service reference " option not reflecting in the VS 2010 beta2 version. Need help asap.
Monday, December 14, 2009 9:13 AMhi!
I'm sorry... no news so far.... We are also waiting for this functionality.... I had the hope that VS 2010 supports WCF LOB integration without any additional SDKs. But this doesn't seem to become true.
