Visual Studio 2008 - VB - Accessing MS Access database

Question

I have an Access database (History.mdb) saved in Access 2003. When I open Visual Studio 2008, I add the data source as described in the library walk through. The walkthrough states: "Select the table, click the down arrow and select details" The down arrow does not appear when I select the specific table in the Data Source window. I have tried dragging the table to the window, to a listbox, to a grid view and none of these work. Any ideas? Do I need to reload VS 2008? Am I missing a service pack? Any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
