Client Computers for 500 concurrent users

Hi All,

 

 I need to get some idea on number of client computers are needed for running performance tests . I want to be able to simulate 500 concurrent users. Can anyone tell me roughly how many clients are needed for that ?

It depends a lot on the test, but most likely you just need one agent to simulate 500 users.

Thanks to reply.You mean only one machine can be used for 500 concurrent users.

If i am setting 4 client machines,whta would be the impact on performance ?

Can you guide me more what should i do more?
