Locked Only 50 Pages displayed/listed in Page Response Time output.

    Hi,

I've noticed that only 50 pages are graphed & listed for the 'Page Response Times' output during and after a loadtest has completed.

I know you can drag the missing counters onto the graphs but is there anyway to force VS to graph and list all the pages excercied in the loadtest?

    I have 200+

    Thanks

    Richard.

    Hi Richard,

Thank you for posting in the MSDN forum.

Just to make this issue clearly, are you using the VS2008? Do you mean that you could get the “Page Response Time” in the load test result like the following screen shot?

If so, as far as I know, it is a product limit in the VS2008, but it works well in VS2010, see “VS2008 Load Testing - Maximum page counters = 50?

    Best Regards,

    Hi Jack,

    Thanks for the reply....

    I'm using VS2010 + SP1.

FYI: The webtest only has a single page request but that page pulls from a datasource of 200+ pages...

    Hi Richard,

    Glad to receive your reply.

If you just run this web test, what result did you get? Where did you get the 50 unique pages? Maybe you could share us a screen shot about the “Page Response Time” in your load test result.

Is the result similar to my screen shot? If so, did you check the settings in your load test, for example, the Maximum Request URLs Reported.

Maybe you could try to increase the load test duration time or test iterations and check it again.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Jack,

If you run it in a webtest it all works fine. Obvioulsy no graph/list is displayed when running a webtest.

The 50 pages are from one of our websites.

The Maximum Request URLS setting is set to 1000.

I have tried another webtest with 55 urls in the webtest as below (could only fit upto 34 on the screen):

    i.e

But the results output stops at 50 pages:

    Hi Rich,

    Glad to receive your reply.

I’m afraid that my reply in another thread isn’t correct. Actually your load test is running (Test in progress), it isn’t completed. I try to add 55 pages as yours and try to run it in the load test in VS2010 and VS2012RC, after the load test is completed, I just get the page 6-page55, so I’m afraid that this issue isn’t resolved now.

So I’m afraid that it is still the product limit now, you could submit the feedback to Microsoft Connect feedback portal: http://connect.microsoft.com, Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously. Thanks for your understanding. Note: It seems that connect is for VS2012 version, so you could submit this feedback with VS2012, since it has the same issue in the VS2012 RC.

    Have a nice day,
