Hi,
I have problem running a load test with a message that cannot open database file. when attempt to setup the Test | Manage Test Controller, there is a field (Controller) populated with "<Local - No Controller>. What is that controller name mean and refer to?
After setting up and regardless whatever in the field, test connection is made but when Click OK the messages is displayed.
"Set Connection String failed for controller '<Local - No Controller>'
the following error was reported
Access to path C:\program files\microsoft visual studio 10.0\common7\ide\QTControllerConfig.xml is denied"
Could anyone help me with the solution?
Thanks

Hi,
"<Local - No Controller>" means that you are not using any test controller and your test run will be done locally on that box. Please read here to understand how test controller and agents are used in case of load testing: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms243155(v=VS.100).aspx
Regarding access denied error, can you please check that your VS is running with admin privileges?
Thanks, Rubel
