Is Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 tool kit mandatory for CRM 2011 Web Testing? Can I use VSTS 2010 for Web Testing only?

Hi,
I'm using VSTS 2010 for web testing of a CRM 2011 system.
After I recorded the scripts, I'm not able to find the controls through the scripts for parameterizing. For ex: I filled all required fields on a form and submit it. I need to extract these fields as parameter and bind them with a datasource to make it a data-driven test. But I'm not able to find these controls in the scripts anyway. I'm wondering if Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 tool kit mandatory for CRM 2011 Web Testing? Anyone has similar experience?

Hi Celine_83,
I checked with someone familar to CRM and was told that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 tool kit (http://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-US/applications/performance-toolkit-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011-12884915630) is NOT mandatory for CRM 2011 Web Testing. Yet it is recommended.
Thanks & Regards,
Leon

Were you able to solve this issue ? If so, could you add more information on how you did it ?
Thanks.
