Can't seem to find this bit of info: Can VS2010 clients work with TFS2008 ? We have an environment where one new project team will be using VS2010 but rest of company is still on VS2008, and more importantly the TFS version will remain 2008 for the foreseable future.
Need a quick answer please or someone point me in the right direction?
Thx

Yes it works. You don't need to install anything. VS 2010 Ultimate connects with TFS 2008 out of the box.

Hello Ewald, I am not sure what you are answering, and the link you provided doesn't mean anything to me either. This is a simple question please:
DOES Visual Studio 2010 (e.g., Ultimate edition) work with TFS 2008 ? Any issues with source code management, with Team Explorer ?
And speaking of Team Explorer - would we need to install Team Explorer 2008 add-in ? Or do we need the Team Explorer 2010 add-in ?
Thanks in advance,
Rick. -
