Automation using VSTS 2010

Question

Hi ,

I have been asked for the automation of the web based application using VSTS 2010. I have to prepare the test plan and other stuff related to testing as I will be whole sole responsible for the automation.

I have never worked in automation . My company will be cunducting the training of the tool .

My question is that from where I should start . I had a talk with an expert and he told me to first recocnize the objects which will not be captured by VSTS 2010. I have the test cases ready. I have to export the test cases to TFS 2010 and integrate VSTS with TFS.

How should I start this with as I am new to automation. Is there any good document where in I can read the working of VSTS 2010 and start working.
