    Hi,

I installed VS.net2010SP1 and WinAzure SDK and then I would like to setup SQl Server 2012, but it gives Error.

another time, first I installed SQL Server2012 then  I  installed  VS.net2010SP1, but this time when I run VS.net2010SP1 from start, It gives error and doesn't work correctly.

So, I would like to setup both of VS.net2010SP1 and SQl Server 2012(for HybridAzureConnect or SQLAzureFederations)

    Please help me,

    Best,

    Siamak

    Hi Siamak,

I am sorry that here is not the correct forum for you to deal with your issue.

In addition, I feel confused about your issue, please offer me more information so I will move it to the correct forum. Do you mean actually you have two scenarios?

Scenario 1). You have successfully installed VS2010 SP1 and WinAzure SDK successfully but can't install SQL2012?
Scenario 2). You have successfully installed SQL2012 but can't get VS2010 SP1 installed successfully?

What is the specific error you got separtely for these 2 scenarios?

    Thanks.

    Hi Vicky Song,

I tested Scenario 1 and 2 but I couldn't install both of them on my system.

In Scenario 1, while installing SQL Server2012 full, it gave error.

In Scenario 2, after installing VS2010 SP1, in start menu of win7 I found just VS.net2010 shell of SQL Server2012.

would like to know a correct way to setup both of (VS.net2010 SP1, Azure SDK) and (SQL Server 2012Full) on my system.

    Best,

    Siamak

    Hi Siamak,

    Thanks for your response.

For your issue about installing SQL2012, I think you need to cosult SQL experts directly, go: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlsetupandupgrade/threads

And for your install issue about VS2010 SP1, please use the collect.exe tool to the installation logs and upload the vslogs.cab file to the SkyDrive site. Post back the link once you finished it, I will take a look at it for you.

    Thanks.
