Data Compare feature for SQL Server 2008
- I have been using Data Compare feature for SQL Server 2005 and it's been working very well. Unfortunately it doesn't support SQL Server 2008. Is there any plan to support that in the future? Thanks!

- make sure you have installed the latest bits.
I have the GDR2 bits and I can compare 2008.

- Hi Chang
If you're using Visual Studio 2005, you need to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 Update for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Support after Visual Studio 2005 SP1 (Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Team Suite Service Pack 1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=BB4A75AB-E2D4-4C96-B39D-37BAF6B5B1DC (This download installs Service Pack 1 for Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Standard, Professional, Team Editions) or Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Express Editions Service Pack 1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7B0B0339-613A-46E6-AB4D-080D4D4A8C4E (This download installs Service Pack 1 for Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Express Editions)).
If you're using Visual Studio 2008, please install SQL Server 2008 after VS2008 SP1, in case of any problems be aware of the Actions that are required before you install SQL Server 2008 on a computer that has Visual Studio 2008 or the prerelease version of SQL Server 2008 installed .
Thanks.
