I have been hearing about the data dude that can be used for a visual studio.net 2010 professional edition ide. I have heard alot about the 'generic' features of it. However can you tell me where I can obtain the download for this? Also can you tell me and/or point me to some features that are used by the data dude?

Perhaps these links (filched from another thread) will be helpful:

    Make
sure you go to the DOCUMENTS section at DBPROJ.COM and read some articles Gert wrote.

As for VS2010 support, this news may be relevant too:

    Hi Wendy,

I am moving your case to the Database Edition forum as your issue is more related to Data Dude.

    Thanks.

    Hi Wendy,

Firstly, it is possible for you to create database project in the VS2010 Professional edition. However, not all the database features are avaliable in it. To get all the feaures fully capabled, please install VS2010 Premium or Ultimate edtion. For more information, please see:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vstsdb/archive/2009/10/19/what-s-new-for-data-dude-in-visual-studio-2010.aspx

Secondly, by default data dude is involved in the Professional edition, there is no other requried installation for it.

Thirdly, according to the blog I provided you above, the avaliable database feaures in VS2010 Professional, Premium and Ultimate edtions are:
