Word Crash and recovery with Content controls and Track Changes

Question

Hi,

I have a Word VSTO add-in where I use PlainText and Richtext content controls within tables to write content. When the document is open for sometime and I edit it in Track Chnages mode, Word abruptly crashes and recovers inconsistently.

In the recoverd version of the file, within the PlainText controls, the existing content gets duplicated. And with every crash, the content is duplicated repeatedly.

We are not able to reproduce the Word crash with specific steps.

Is there any known Word issue related to editing of Content controls in Track Changes mode and seeing such errors in the recovered version of the file?
