Image Maps in Outlook 2007
Ok, I have been searching the web for hours on this subject.
First off I am very disappointed with Microsofts lack of support on
html/css in this newest version of outlook. I have tried everything I
know to get image maps to work in outlook 2007. While the MSDN site
does state that outlook 2007 does in fact support image maps I have
not found in any way this to be true. Can anyone correct me on this?
I have 2 images in my html email that I am mapping. 1 has 8 mapped
links while the other has 6 mapped links. When I save this HTML/images to the correct stationary folder I am
able to import this and send it. When it is recieved the image maps
have been stripped out of the message.Anyone know a work around or is this simply not supported?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

- Hello Lisamil,
Thanks for contacting VSTO forum.
It seems that you are not working with VSTO project. If yes, I am afraid that this issue is off-topic in this forum. VSTO is a technology for extending the UI of Office 2003 and 2007 applications in the forum of Add-ins and document-level customizations. As you mentioned, it seems like little relation to VSTO technology rather Outlook. The forum's PLEASE READ FIRST explains what VSTO forum is for. So here I recommend you post this issue to Innovate on Office forum or officedev newsgroup, where there are more Outlook specialists, and you would probably get more help. Please show the MSDN site you mentioned above when posting this issue to the following link.
Here are the link: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/innovateonoffice/threads/ and http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.office.developer.officedev.other&lang=en&cr=US.
You also could find an appropriate entry link in this forum's PLEASE READ FIRST.
If I have mistaken this scenario, please point me out.
Best regards,
Bessie
