There is no VSS 2010, for VS 2010, you could choose the VSS 2005 that in the Visual Studio 2005. And use this KB can http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/KB976375 integrate the VSS 2005 with VS2010.
And for VS 2010, we recommend you to select TFS(Team Foundation Server) 2010: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/ff637362.aspx that contains one source control part can help you to manage the source code. And the TFS also provides many features to help you to manage your project, document and control the progress. For TFS problem, you could consult that at TFS forum: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/category/vstfs

OH, we do not provide the free VSS. You should get the license of VS 2005 that contains the VSS 2005.
And TFS can work for you for SSRS Reports, SSIS Packages:
refer to: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/tfsadmin/thread/d7296785-61e7-4f18-858a-91821b998706
Please split these two question about SSRS and SSIS for TFS, one could be posted at: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlreportingservices/threads and SSIS at: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlintegrationservices/threads

Yes, you should have one TFS server, install the TFS product, then you could connect that and create/manage the project on the server.

But VSS 6.0 is old cannot be integrated with VS 2010. VS 2010 can work with VSS2005 only via installuing one KB: http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/KB976375
One thread may help you on your question with SSIS and VSS: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/ms-MY/sqlintegrationservices/thread/7b8d46d3-4989-4e62-a655-22bbf51f8eb6
but as SSISJoost in that thread said, yout VSS should be integrated with VS first. So choose VSS 2005 or TFS, or could consider to select other third party version control tools.

Yes, there is no way. you have to mergrate the VSS 6.0 DB to VSS 2005. Then you could use the DB in VS 2010.

Hi Asrar,
You may also consider using a SourceSafe add-on, like SourceAnywhere for VSS. With it, you can continue using VSS 6.0 and use the MSSCCI plugin of SourceAnywhere for VSS to work with VS 2010.
Besides, the solution allows you to access your VSS DB remote fast and also cross platform.
