Where to execute Analyze command

Hi,

I am new user of VSS, i want to run the analze command in VSS server, please advise where to execute the command,

wheather in MS-DOS prompt of wndows or somewhere else.

Hi,

When i try to run the SS.exe utility, it is asking for me to enter the user name and password, when i enter both it is giving me message as ( User "Ahmed" is not found), please help me to over come this issue

And, an off the topic suggestion, if possible, you should move your source code to a modern version control solution, considering Microsoft is replacing VSS with TFS. 

If for any reasons you are stuck with VSS for now, I suggest you read this VSS tutorial for beginners.
