      So you have installed the VSS plug-in for Visual Studio 2010 (http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/KB976375), and could you please try to check if you have installed the other pulg-ins in your Visual Studio 2010. Could you please check the connection between te VS and the VSS server?

      A hang problem without any specific informatino is hard to troubleshoot. I hope that you can share some more information about it, and let us help you to check. Thanks.
