Downloaded and applied VSS 2005 Update. Still I have issues with VSS integration with Vs.net 2008.

Source Control menu item is not there in File Menu. I use VS.Net 2008 Team System.

 

(All work well with VS.Net 2003/VS.Net 2005 and VSS 2005)

 

Any one going thru similar issues? Any clues ?

Using VS2008 developer edition here on Vista. SourceSafe works fine after I applied the patch.

 

One assumes you have set the source control to "SourceSafe" in VS2008 options dialog (sorry granny/eggs)

Thanks howard, overlooked that totally. Assumed 2008 will pick up SouceSafe as source control automatically, since I have 2003 and 2005 already running well...my bad

I'm trying to check in a file and im getting an error that says I can't check in a file that is larger that 2 gig.  My file is just under 2 meg.  Anyone have this issue?

Running VSS 8.0.50727.1551

I'm currently running the analysis on it. I don't think it will help though.

Yes the same thing I tried to check in a file and i"d ggot an error that says I can't check in a file that is larger that 2 gig.  My file is just under 2 meg.
