how to use serial key registration in C#.net compact

Question

Dear,

I am developing an application in windows mobile 5.0 using c#.net. In this application i need to add a functionality to register the device with the serial key provided by the software. so i want my application to generate a serial key and that serial key to be sent to another desktop application that generate matching serial key to register the device.

 

Please someone guide me.
