    Hello ,

         I am using Visual Studion 2008(SP1) for a Smart Device Application.For the past 2 days i found that
    the toolBox is emty,not showing any controls. I have tried all the things (Deleting the .tbd files , Resetting
    the Tool Box and then selecting Show All options, setting Tools->options->Windows Forms Designer->Auto ToolBoxPopulate to true ) ,but all in vein

    Hello YiCHun,

       The problem solved by deleting the .tdb files from "%TEMP%\..\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0"( mine is XP Machine )

    Hi Shamslover,

    What kind of smart device application are you developing now? Can you add these Smart Device controls via "Choose Items" in the toolbox?

         I am using Visual Studio 2008(SP1) for a Smart Device Application.For the past 2 days i found that
    the toolBox is emty,not showing any controls.
    It seems that Smart Device development works well before the past two days, right?

    Did you try the workarounds mentioned as the following (like repair SDK installation)?
