Hi MauroPreg,
Welcome to the MSDN forum.
First, if you reapplied Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 via web installer, I recommend you download ISO file of Service Pack 1 from: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=210710
After you download the ISO file, please extract ISO file to your local hard disk and try reapplying.
Second, please check if the file “DotfuscatorCE_5.0.2500.msi” is located in “<Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 installation folder>\Dotfuscator\”. If you cannot find the file, it means the installation files are corrupt, I recommend you redownload the ISO file.
Before you begin to reapply it, please clean up %temp% folder and complete all Windows updates. Make sure all antivirus and antispyware are turned off during the installation. Also, run setup.exe as administrator.
If you encounter any error during the installation, please use this tool to collect the logs: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=12493
After you run it, you can upload vslogs.cab located in %temp% folder to an open website or send it to me (v-alsun_at_microsoft_dot_com).
If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let me know.
Best Regards,

Yes, thank you for this post.
It seems the VS10sp1-KB983509.exe update downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=23691 does not contain the Dotfuscator folder & files. The ISO works great!
