Hi all!
I tried to install a Visual studio 2011 BETA in a Windows 8 Developer Preview machine and when I click launch an error prompt appears, here is the event log description:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe". The setting http://schemas.microsoft.com/SMI/2011/WindowsSettings^disableWindowFiltering is not registered.
Any ideas?

The fastest solution for me was the Windows upgrade from the Dev. Preview to the CTP.- Edited by Dimsont.d Saturday, March 03, 2012 2:25 PM
