I have an application that uses the ReportViewer which is referenced from one of my projects.  The setup program also has the report viewer as a prerequisite.  Lately I am getting the following error.  Anyone have an idea how to correct the problem causing the error?

Warning 1 The value of the 'PublicKey' attribute in 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Report Viewer' does not match that of file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\ReportViewer\ReportViewer.exe'. D:\function\RAMS IP Project\RAMSInstall\RAMSInstall.vdproj RAMSInstall

ok so I resolved this issue by

    1. downloading the newer reportviewer.exe from here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=BB196D5D-76C2-4A0E-9458-267D22B6AAC6&displaylang=en

    2. I copied it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\ReportViewer\ReportViewer.exe, after renaming the existing file to reportviewer.exe.old.

Yep that did the tick for me too, thanks!  I had tried installing the kit, did not occur to replace that file with it.
