Is Microsoft planning on allowing different groups to have launch parties as they did with 2008? If so, when will this be announced?
Or, if there will not be launch parties, will Microsoft be doing any free events covering this like they have in the past?

The "official" events are here:

I believe that there are also local community events. Do you belong to an INETA developer's group?
Hope this helps.
