Test Runner "Not Waiting"

Hi

I recorded user actions on my application from MTM.

when I replay my action test runner 'play back action' is failing, because my applaction 3 minutes for launch

Test Runner is not waiting for Application Lauch and continuing with the next steps

Is it the expected behaviour

try this:

In the test centr, go to plan then properties.  Select the open link next to  Test Settings.

Selct data and diagnostics on the left and click the configure button corresponding to the actions checkbox.

 

Half way down the window you see a Recording Settings area:

Check the capture user delay between actions if more than: box and set the spinner to an appropriate number (something less than your application launch time).

Not certain this will work but I think it will.  the caution is if somebody stops by to chat while you are recording a manual test that delay will be recorded.
