How to open 2 instances of Microsoft Test Manager?

Hi,
Can any one please tell me how to open 2 instances of MTM.
I found 2 solutions online, but both dont seem to work.
1. Make another copy of the MTM.exe and MTM.exe.config files found on your C:\ drive under Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE
Then you have two instances of Test Manager for opening, this comes in handy when you need to look at different area’s of MTM at the same time.- the 2nd instance continually crashes, so i cannot use it.
2. Find the short cut for MTM on the start menu, or the task bar
b) shift-right click (e.g. hold down the shift key, and right click), on the shortcut
c) Select ‘run as different user’-This too doesnt work, it doesnt recognize my 2nd log in credentials
does any one have a work around?

Hi Rakesh,
Thank you for your post.
Seems you want to open two MTM at the same time, right? If I have misunderstood anything, please free feel to let me know. You can refer to this article: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vstsqualitytools/archive/2010/02/27/running-two-microsoft-test-manager-s-side-by-side.aspx. The key idea is run MTM as a different user.
I hope this information will help resolve this issue.
If anything is unclear, please free feel to let me know.
Best regards,
Lily Wu [MSFT]

Hi Lily,
I had previously tried the work around that you provided.
But each time i try to log in as a different user i get an error stating that "the security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship."
can you let me know how to work around this?

Hi,
I am able to log on to mtm as a 2nd user, but the moment i log on I get an error "error parsing c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0.30319\config\machine.config parser returned error 0x80070005"
and then mtm crashes!
Is there anything i can do to avoid this?

The reason i need 2 instances is because i have 2 Projects created on MTM and i want to be able to see the contents of both of them at once without having to close one to connect to the other.
Is there a way i can do that?
