Would you tell me all the purpose of Builds setting of Run Settings in Testing Center of TestManager 2010.
I would like to know the following
1) I assign my latest build to my test plan.
2) When I manually run that test plan, I choose [run with option] and setting Build Configuration.
3) After that When I click [Start Test] button from test runner, Would my program run automatically from specific build configuration of my latest build?
Please If you have any idea about my question.
Thanks and regards,
Kyaw Zin Aung

No, the build assocation used to let MTM know what the associated changesets and work items are, and to be able to find out the recommended test for that build. You will have to start your application "manually" when running the test.
Hope that helps

If its an automated test, it will be picked up from the selected build.

Thank you for your post.
To set up your test plan to run the latest version of your automated test methods, you must choose the correct build definition used to build your automated test and then select the correct build. Or you can use a build definition that has the correct build drop location for your existing automated test assemblies. You must select the correct build so that the automated test can be found in the share location for your build definition and then it can be run from Microsoft Test Manager.
For detail information, you can refer to How to: Run Automated Tests from a Test Plan Using Microsoft Test Manager.
I hope this information will help resolve this issue.
If anything is unclear, please free feel to let me know.
