Hi webmasterpiece,
Thank you for your post.
This forum is mainly support for english language issues, sorry for any inconvenience. I suggest you can go to http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/it-it/categories forum for better support for italian language issues.
In addition, i'll try my best to provide information as detail as possible to help resolve the issue in english.
1. What is MTM(Microsoft Test Manager)?
MTM is a new application included in Microsoft VS 2010 Ultimate and VS Test Professional 2010.
MTM need to connect to a TFS server, after connect to TFS, you can create a test plan and add any test suites, test cases, or configurations that you need.
2. What is its purpose?
MTM is mainly for manage the test process. Create a test plan to let us know what we need to test next. Create test configuration to let us this should be test under what kind of environment. Track the test by record the test log and gather diagnostic information when you run tests and automatically add this information to a bug.
MTM is primarily for the generalist tester who wants to create manual test cases, run these tests and view the results as part of a test plan.
You can also run automated tests from Microsoft Test Manager if an automated test is associated with a test case.
3. For how the MTM work, you can refer to Quick Start Guide for Manual Testing using Microsoft Test Manager.
I hope this information will help resolve this issue.
If anything is unclear, please free feel to let me know.
