Can I run automated test scripts from MTM, without assigning actual build to it?

Question

I created a Test Case in MTM and did some recording on it and opened those scripts in VS, added some code for parametrization and associated that code to related Test Case. Now I wish to run my automated test scripts in MTM. I encounter a problem in configuring Test agent because of work group issue. Is there any work around (procedure) to run automated test scripts without assigning any test build?
