Locked Windows Management Framework 3.0 compatibility with TFS labs

    I understand that WinRM is used by lab management.

    Now that Windows Management Framework 3.0 has been released (which includes PowerShell 3.0 and WinRM), is it ok/supported to install that on machines hosting TFS 2010 labs?

      David, although I do not test it myself, I think it should work with TFS 2010 Lab management. Do you get any errors when you set up and configure it?

          I installed 3.0, but then noticed these errors in the VMM Jobs log when trying to manage labs:

          Error (2912)
          An internal error has occurred trying to contact an agent on the xxxxxservername.domain.com server.
           (An internal error occurred (0x8007054F))

          Recommended Action
          Ensure the agent is installed and running. Ensure the WS-Management service is installed and running, then restart the agent.
