LightSwitch Control will not Publish

Question

I have successfully uploaded and saved a LightSwitch Treeview control extension.  The saved page seems to work as expected and there are no errors.  The message bar indicates that the control has not yet been published.  Pressing Publish does not appear to do anything and the control remains unpublished.

Are there some validity checks or other issues that might be causing the control not to publish?  Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

After waiting overnight and going to the control in the My Contributions page, the Publish button worked from there.
