Chose Dark theme in VS11 beta, then reset my settings to Web Development, and source code no longer dark

Just installed VS11 today, opened a VS2010 project just fine, and chose the Dark theme option, and my source code was nicely dark. But then I reset my settings to Web Development mode, and while the interface remained dark, all my source code was Light again.
Cycling between the Light and Dark settings again doesn't change anything.
Thanks!

Hi I had this problem too, I fixed it by manually importing the dark theme settings. Go to import settings, select the file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\FontsAndColorsThemes\1ded0138-47ce-435e-84ef-9ec1f439b749.vssettings
That will set the text editor dark again and the theme select will work as well.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for reporting this issue. We have been busy fixing a lot of issue with the theme switching so please keep an eye out for them in the next release of VS11, including the issue mentioned above.
Thanks for using Visual Studio!

Hi, I have installed VS april update yesterday. My theme was light at that time (theme switching before worked good for me). I switched to dark theme today, and fonts/colors remain light. After importing dark theme manually as mentioned in the answer theme switching behavior restored.

There is a simple solution also available for this.
Just go to Tools -> "Import & Export settings" -> "Reset all setting" -> "No, Just reset settings, overwriting my current settings" -> Then choose the development settings you want and click for Finish.
Thanks,
Yuva
