Can somebody help me with this?

Question

I'm trying to figure out why this exe crashes everytime I click on it. Does it have to do with Visual Studio or my resolution or .NET 4 framwork? I reinstall .NET framework 4 like 5 times but it still doesnt work. Running Windows 7 64 bit, 1920x1080 resolution. Every little help would be great! thanks

Thank you for posting in the MSDN forum.

As Wyck’s suggestion, did you debug your app in VS IDE? Which kind of app are you running?

I might not have the correct detailed answer you need, but I might lead you into the right direction to solve your problem.

If just the specific app has this issue, so we could make sure that it is not the VS install/setting issue.

Please restart your pc, and reopen your VS.

If possible, run VS devenv /log to find more useful message.

To make sure whether it is related to your Environment, please close other processes in your local machine, like the firewall or others. Or you could try to debug it with other machine.

If still no help, I’m afraid that you would check a crash dump.

If you can:

1. Download the Debug Diagnostics Tool- DebugDiag: Debug Diagnostic Tool v1.2
2. Get a dump from the crashing process. For detailed message, please see Process Crashes
3. Upload the crash dump to SkyDrive, share us the link in your post.

Maybe we could find more useful information.
