Tuesday, November 03, 2009 7:01 AMThe architecture tools and the layers diagram seems interesting for us to ensure our design and architecture.
As far as i understand, we must have an ultimate edition for our architect to be able to create the UML and such archictecture layer and diagram.
But if we have a build server, which version of VS 2010 do we must use it to be able to validate the layer rules as part of the continuous build ?

Tuesday, November 03, 2009 9:21 AMAs Ive heard licesing for the new SKU's and buildserver has not changed from ts2008. As long as you have one Ultimate licens in your project, you can install it on the buildserver withous any extra licens.
Wednesday, November 04, 2009 11:41 PMHey Frederic,
With VS 2010, you do not need to install a client version of a SKU to perform layer validation.
The build server install supports layer validation already.
Hope that helps
