By manually setting accounts and permissions we managed to go through this step, and now that we have a project we cannot create work items. Seems like these issues are all related to AD, but I am not yet sure what exactly causes the problem as it does not look like a firewall issue in our case.Sun, 01 Nov 2009 22:44:32 Z2009-11-17T14:42:42Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c69d53a3-105e-4028-9d9e-0e5ce4f719b9http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c69d53a3-105e-4028-9d9e-0e5ce4f719b9Alicia Caleshttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Alicia%20CalesFORUM LOCKED: Please use the Visual Studio 2010 & .NET Framework 4 Beta 1 Forums
Thank you for visiting Visual Studio 2010 .Net 4 CTP forums. Since the Beta1 is now available we are closing down the CTP forums and encourage you to visit the new Visual Studio 2010 & .NET Framework 4 Beta 1 forums.

Thanks,

Charles Sterling

Program Manager Visual Studio

Program Manager, Server and Tools Online Operations TeamWed, 20 May 2009 19:34:30 Z2009-05-20T19:35:18Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c6af5d66-6f12-4b0f-af99-96aa0c9b3837http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c6af5d66-6f12-4b0f-af99-96aa0c9b3837Salva - From Spainhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Salva%20-%20From%20SpainDisable ClearTypeVS 2010 Beta 1 have cleartype active in all code editors (html, cs, vb). disable my component in a debug environment? (IE, one debugging VS with no component, one debugee VS with the component). This was a very normal scenario with regular/experimental hives, and it was really useful. I can think of 2 cases where this will be needed:
1) If my component completely crashes VS (already done that!), there is no way to debug to see how far it'll get before crashing
2) If my component modifies the behaviour of the language in which the component is developed (a C# component modifying the C# editor), I may end up being unable to code the component without removing it first: code - close vs - test - close vs - del component - code.
Mon, 12 Jan 2009 18:04:41 Z2009-04-30T23:06:32Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/d38e2ddc-9866-4814-bc79-d3b623a5cac1http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/d38e2ddc-9866-4814-bc79-d3b623a5cac1Leo Violettehttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Leo%20VioletteWould like to put pictures or images in Visual Studio Editor.Any plans to allow a picture to be inline with your source code?

Imagine being able to put a diagram or a hierarcy chart in the comments above a function.
Leo Violette - Software Engineer in Redmond Washington.Thu, 19 Mar 2009 06:00:56 Z2009-03-19T06:00:59Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c9d6ac99-b643-44e8-af24-92d158ea64c8http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vs2010ctpeditor/thread/c9d6ac99-b643-44e8-af24-92d158ea64c8element109http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=element109Are there any plans for an ink analyzer for code languages?I bought a tablet input panel for my Vista desktop hoping to use it to write code, unfortunately the analyzers are designed for verbal languages and don't work well with code languages.
