How to report weird behaviour

Question

Whilst doing the CTP walkthrough for the "how to customize Start Pages", I found that studio complained about the syntax when nothing was wrong.

In addition, the designer had infinite number of buttons that weren't even defined in my startpage.xaml.

Without modifying a thing, I closed studio down, then reopened studio and solution and everything was fine.

What is the best way I can report these types of glitches?

To log a bug, go to https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio and click on "New Bug."  Once you fill in and submit the bug form, the bug will be investigated and may be escalated to a product team to fix.  Every bug is looked at by someone at Microsoft, and I'd strongly encourage you to report any issues you find.

It doesn't sound like this applies in your case, but it may be useful for others with the same question.  If you report a crashing bug, please attach a crash dump if you have one, as this is very helpful to the developers who will investigate.
