How to install Visual Studio 2008 (Free-Trial)
How to install visual studio 2008 (Free-trial)? The Visual Studio 2008 file I downloaded into my computer is in .img format and I am unable to find a program to recognize that file. May anyone of you please help me? I want to use it for learning and practicing on programming.
Thank You!

You need to burn a DVD from the image file, then install from the DVD.
Of course, this requires a DVD-writing drive. The software that came with the drive or computer (usually Nero) will handle the image files.
The instructions for installation are on the MSDN download page here:

Tony's solution is one of the easiest (in the long run) as apps like Daemon Tools give you a virtual CD/DVD drive that you can use to mount an existing ISO/IMG file with and treat like a readonly CD/DVD... all without having to burn a copy.
