conevert MS office files into pdf or tiff formtt

hey my application supported to tiff formatt files to send fax,but i need to send any file extension as a fax.so in vc++ how to  convert any formatted files into pdf or tiff.so plz tell me anybody is there any chance to do it,or we shold use 3 rd party tool.if i should use 3 rd party tool plz tell me that which tool is better for that

How is this related to VC? Most APIs are language independent. 

I suggest you to visit an Office automation newsgroup like microsoft.public.office.developer.automation.

SQL Server 2008...it does both.

Of course, you need SQL Server 2008 to ply those APIs. They are part of the Reporting Services API. In general, SQL Server 2008 has been a great addition to our process here.
