    Dear Microsoft:

I use the Internet explorer to access the web based MSDN help system.

From VC++, when I it the F1 key for the first time when my cursor is on a word which is know to have help, the MSDN web page loads - this is good.

However, often, sometime soon thereafter, and after performing the same steps, the browser does open, but the web page never loads and the busy signal remains displayed. I know this is not a server thing because I can load then load same page by hand in any IE browser.

Also, sometimes late at night, the web based msdn help system often refuses to load pages alogether. This may well be a server problem because msdn stops responding altogether. This is very unpleasant because I need all the help I can get.

Rebooting my system does not solve the problem. Closing all browsers does not solve the problem.

Can you give me some ideas as to what is going on?

    Thank you.

    Todd.

Sometimes I cannot sign in my hotmail account, but after restarting my computer, it can be fixed.

When I reinstall my OS, the problem never comes back.

I think your issue has something to do with your VS or OS. Reinstall can be the last resort.

    Hi xaprogrammer,

    Welcome here!

    1. If the web page is not loaded, I suggest you check whether the URL is correct. Or you can try to refresh the page when the busy signal remains displayed. If those method make no effect, maybe reinstall your Visual Studio is the last resort.

    2. The issue about server problem is out of our support scope, this forum is for develop issue. Thank you for understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Damon
