I have installed the visual studio C++ 2010 express in my computer.
But I found the tooltip of toolbar can't be displayed.
I have re-installed for several times and this situation has happened.
I try to install visual studio 2010 express in other computer, it worked.
How should I enable this function?Best regards,
Akria Sheng

Hi,
Welcome to MSDN forum!
Shall I take it as in your computer you cannot see any tooltip of toolbar, Did you reset it? You can do it as this blog.
Maybe some setting you not change, and it will be recorded by system, so you re-installed for several times but no change.
Have a nice day!
Jesse

Hi,
Did you notice that other application on your computer disable tooltip all?
Please check Registry Key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] the value ShowInfo Tip and keep it true.
Have a nice day!

Hi Jesse,
All other applications, ex. office, IE, MSN...etc, can show their tooltip and the Registry Key is ture, too.
I had tried to install it with the same flow on the other computers with winXP, their tooltips displayed correctly.Best regards,
Akria Sheng
