hello, i am converting basic application into visual basic. At the time of reading data from .SYS file using random file access method, the data coming into variable required to convert into integer. In basic we are used CVI() function for conversion. what is the equivalent for this conversion of string to int.(actually i unable to recognize type of string present in file because it's a binary SYS file). Is any problem due to 16 to 32 migration? or any thing wrong in it? please help me resolve this problem. Give me equivalent of CVI() function of basic in VB 6.0. Thanks.
