Locked How to make ENTER key complete intellisense, but WITHOUT a line return

Does anyone know how I can setup visual studio to use the enter key to complete intellisense, but without moving the cursor to the next line?  I use multiple other IDE's that work in this fashion, and VS is really throwing off my rythym with this.  Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I know that will provide the result I want, but out of habit, i hit enter.  So, i wondered if the default functionality could be changed.  I guess not Sad

    Hi Jade,

Currently there is not corresponding Intellisense setting in VB.NET IDE used to achieve this goal: "Make ENTER key complete intellisense, but WITHOUT a line return".

You can submit product suggestions at Feedback for Visual Basic Bug Submission Pilot.

I have found that SharpDevelop works Much Much better as an IDE for VB.net. It makes vb.net feel like C#. It also runs much faster, especially for VB.net Projects.
