VB .NET Resource Kit License

Question

If this is not the appropriate place for this, please advise. I've looked around the MSDN site and did not come across an obvious alternative...

I have inherited a VB.NET project that is built using some ComponentOne components that are provided on the now discontinued VB.NET Resource Kit CD.

I do not have this CD, and clearly cannot now get it. Can I use the license issued to the original author of the app for maintenance work?

Probably depends on if he is using license elsewhere. You are probably are better to direct this question to ComponentOne.
