Answered SDK/ADK on Windows 7?

    Is it possible to install the SDK or ADK on Windows 7? The install doesn't seem to do anything for me, so I'm assuming not, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

    Your assumption is correct in that the tools aren't supported for Metro style apps on non-Win8 machines

    Lots of/most people will need to target multiple Windows versions and need to support devs working on multiple Windows versions.  Mandating that Metro apps can only be developed on Windows 8 is going to be a big problem.  Any ETA on when this will be resolved?
