Developer tools on Windows 8 32 bit?
-
Wednesday, September 14, 2011 3:35 AMHello, I noticed the ISO downloads include developmental tools included in the 64 bit preview, but not the 32 bit. Is there any way to get the developer tools for 32 bit? I really wanna start developing, but i don't wanna risk installing on my 64 bit comp. Thanks in advanced. EDIT: After reading a little, I think I am just going to install it on my 64 bit comp in a Virtual Environment. BUT, im sure some others would still like to know the answer to my original question.

Hi,
Currently, the developer tools are available only with the image named "Windows Developer Preview with developer tools English, 64-bit (x64)". We just posted a more detailed answer to the same question in the Tools forum (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/toolsforwinapps/thread/f2bc3b94-caab-4973-8bbd-c8123b811d0a).
Have fun using the tools!
Sincerely,
Dan
